Description
On the occasion of International Peace established in 1982 by the United Nations Day, the association nonprofit Acting Out Inglese Academy (www.aoea.org) promotes the event World Peace Day. The UN urges us to honor this anniversary with initiatives training and public awareness and also the city of Mestre will be actively present with World Peace Day focuses on the music. The event will involve national and international singers and choirs will present a repertoire of theme songs offering, in this way, contribute to spread a message of peace and hope in the world.
The project was strongly supported by the gospel singer Joselin St.Aimee, AOEA president and artistic director of the Venice Community Gospel Choir, which considers music "the greatest meeting tool between people of different cultures, religions and races."
Among the artists who have given their support, Caroline Awuku, Kenneth Bailey, Giancarlo Bianchetti, Michele Bonivento, Sylvania Dos Santos Ingrid Este, Lesley Sarckey, Windell Simpkins, the group "The Keepers" and the Venice Community Gospel Choir.
